Gabriel Jebb All Roadside Towing
A little about me… I’m the owner and President of All Roadside Towing, Inc. We are a small, but growing Tow Truck Company that also provides Roadside Assistance in San Diego, CA. I’m proud to be running this company and have some major plans for its growth.
I love business, but I’m a family man first. I’ve got a wonderful wife, 7 year old son, and twins that are 20 months old, a little boy and little girl. They are the greatest joys of my life.
When I sketched out my life’s plan, I never expected to be entering the tow industry in my early/mid 40’s. After all, the reputation of the tow truck industry precedes itself. I’ve always imagined it to be corrupt and full of salesmen “over promising / under delivering.” I wasn’t far from the mark, because there are plenty of shady characters and companies that deserve that reputation.
There’s also a group of people and businesses that are altruistic in their intent intent. They want to serve the community and keep the Highway safe. That’s the camp I fall into. I see a big opportunity sticking to my core principles of honesty, integrity, and ethics. I love helping people. So here’s a look at my entrepreneurial past and my endeavors along the way.

Paragliding And The
Torrey Pines Gliderport
A family business since the 90’s this has been my home away from home. We turned the Torrey Pines Gliderport into the largest hang gliding and paragliding center in the world. It is also one of San Diego’s favorite destinations.
my passion for flight and teaching
I’m planning on taking our best customers on tandem flights every quarter. Will you be my next passenger?
The freedom and joy of flight!
For the last 30+ years I’ve been flying and nearly 40 years of surfing… they are my greatest pleasures in life.
I can’t think of anything that can properly articulate those pleasures, but in the sea or in the sky, that’s were I love to being. In those elements, I have everything figured out. Over 15,000 people have trusted me to take them flying or sought out my instruction. That’s something I hold sacred – each of them has trusted me with their life. Plus, I’ve gained so much happiness in sharing my greatest passion and dreams with others.
I ran the operations at the Torrey Pines Gliderport for almost 10 years from the late 90’s until 2007, when I started on my next big business venture. But the Gliderport holds the most sacred space in my heart. I feel like it’s my home. I’ve spent the better part of 30 years flying those cliffs and surfing at Black’s Beach below.
Flying has given me the opportunity to travel to 72 different countries. I’ve had adventures in so many places. I’ve met people and gained friends from around the world. Looking back… it feels surreal, like a lot of it was a dream. Wow. Now I get to start another adventure with my tow truck company!
adaptiveARC, Inc. was my biggest endeavor
hazardous waste disposal / clean energy production
adaptiveARC was my third major business endeavor. I founded the company with 2 other partners. I started as C.O.O., but soon became the C.E.O. We had 28 patents on technology that would process hazardous waste and produce clean energy (ie. electricity, hydrogen, fuel cells, etc.)
I was one of the founders and the Chief Operations Officer. That meant I had to learn every aspect of the business, from supply chain, fabrication, engineering, construction, testing, budgeting, finance, employees, chemical analysis, etc. It was a lot to take in, I never attended college, so I didn’t have any formal education in any of these areas. I did the only thing I know how to do… Gabriel Jebb rolled up his sleeves and went to work. The first 1-1.5 years of adaptiveARC I lived with “Lucille” our prototype machine. Not only was I raising money from friends, family, venture investors, but I was also welding, machining, studying chemistry, assembling parts on the machine, it was awesome.
A couple photos from the 8 year journey with adaptiveARC!
Our big moment! ~2010
Unveiling of “Lucille” the first production prototype of our plasma processor.
Over 250 people showed up for the unveiling and our first public run.
Gabriel the MC ~2010
I was the COO, but also the MC at our 1st demo.
I gave a bit of the history, the general overview of the technology, and then the explanation of the plasma system working. It wasn’t perfect, but it went really well.
Lucille Our Pride & Joy
Lucille was our first production prototype.
She wasn’t a bench model but designed to run close to our claims to demonstrate the technology as commercially viable.
Amber was our 2nd unit. ~2012
Amber is being delivered to UC Riverside
Lucille, the first machine we built went into production in a landfill and recycling center in Mexico City.
Amber is ready for testing. ~2012
Amber is ready for her testing and certification.
The afternoon Amber’s big show. We were demonstrating, throughput, incremental power output, emissions profile… and sampling of emissions, water, ash, ~2012
Vanessa is in full production!
Vanessa is in production processing waste in the Midwest! Erica is under construction!

The Million Dollar Control Room
The control room that ran our plasma units… we’ve come a long way.
Vanessa was totally automated. You could control her from an iPad! A big departure from our 1st couple machines that were totally hand operated. ~2014
The People of ARC
We had so many exceptional people working towards a common goal!
One of the things I miss the most about ARC was the people I worked with… so focused on a singular goal. ~2013
My heart was in adaptiveARC, I was so passionate about this company. We had a humanitarian vision on how we were going to clean up the world. I got the chance to have a major voice, in how some of the biggest issues facing our planet were being handled. We were able to guide policy making in a number of different communities and even countries to change the world for the better. I met everyone, from the CEO’s of the biggest utilities , to Prime Ministers, Presidents, top Generals, etc. An absolutely amazing experience in my late 20’s to mid-30’s. I hope I can meet the same type of influencers in the tow truck industry.
We got into production with a few facilities operating globally. adaptiveARC continues to this day albeit in a different form. It has evolved into a much cleaner / greener system and is being well cared for in the hands of individuals much more experienced than myself.
I have every confidence the dream we shared and the technology we built will change this planet for generations to come.
